Resting Knight | Personal Work

For this piece I was tasked to design a knight that was corrupted in some sort. I started with creating rough shapes, to see what could tell a story, while being readable. I then continued with some more rough sketching to get some ideas for the armor itself. It was quite a challenge to design armor from scratch, make it appear "fantasy" but still believable that someone would be able to make it.
After the sketches were approved I went into some color variations.
At the very end of the pipeline I delved into the final render, which was... a process.
I have learned a lot from this piece and can't wait to apply it to future projects!
